Article 1: Who we are and what we provide
Integro provides a web-based platform at integro.today and related mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”) that incorporate artificial intelligence tools to deliver insights, guidance, and support services. The Platform is designed to accompany individuals engaged in psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT). It is intended to be used in coordination with a licensed clinical provider and formal therapeutic program. It is not a standalone therapeutic or medical service.
The Platform provides:
- AI-assisted tools for session preparation, integration support, and reflective practice
- A peer community where users can share experiences and offer mutual support
- Resources and content related to psychedelic-assisted therapy
The Platform does not provide:
- Medical or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment
- Clinical supervision or oversight of any therapy program
- Emergency mental health services
- Guidance on the acquisition, use, or dosing of any substance
See our Scope of Services for more information.
Article 2: Informed consent for AI-assisted support
2.1 Nature of AI features
The AI features within the Platform are powered by a large language model (LLM). When you use the Platform's AI tools, you are interacting with an artificial intelligence at all times — never with a licensed therapist, counselor, psychiatrist, or medical professional — unless the interface explicitly states otherwise. See our AI Disclosure for more information.
Integro's AI features are designed to support reflection, preparation, and integration. They are not clinically trained or licensed. Responses are generated based on patterns in language data and defined operational guidelines. While we work to make these responses helpful and appropriate, they may occasionally be:
- Imprecise, incomplete, or contextually limited
- Insufficient for complex psychological or medical needs
- Inconsistent across sessions
No response from the AI should be treated as clinical advice.
2.2 Limitations you should understand
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept the following:
- The AI cannot assess your clinical state, safety risk, or therapeutic progress.
- The AI cannot contact your care team, emergency services, or anyone else on your behalf.
- The AI does not have persistent memory of prior sessions unless you have explicitly enabled that feature — and even where enabled, that memory is limited in scope.
- The AI may not always recognize when your needs exceed what it can appropriately support. You are responsible for making that judgment and seeking appropriate help.
2.3 Your responsibility to maintain clinical care
Use of the Platform does not constitute enrollment in a therapeutic program and does not create a clinical relationship of any kind with Integro. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining an active relationship with a licensed provider supervising your PAT program
- Communicating any concerns, distressing experiences, or adverse effects to your clinical team
- Using the Platform as a complement to — not a replacement for — your clinical care
Article 3: Informed consent for peer community participation
3.1 Nature of peer support
The peer community within the Platform consists of other users who are at various stages of the PAT process. Peer support can be meaningful and valuable. It is not, however, clinical support. Other users are not therapists, and their experiences, perspectives, and advice should not be treated as professional guidance.
3.2 Risks of peer interaction
You acknowledge that participating in a peer community in the context of the Platform carries specific risks, including:
- Exposure to content that may be emotionally activating or distressing
- Receiving well-intentioned but inaccurate information about therapy, substances, or mental health
- Interpersonal dynamics that may be complicated by the vulnerability associated with the therapeutic process
You accept these risks as a condition of participation and agree to engage in accordance with our Community Code of Conduct.
3.3 Moderation
Integro is a small team and cannot guarantee real-time or comprehensive moderation of all content. Community safety depends significantly on users reporting violations and supporting one another responsibly. You agree to use Platform reporting tools if you encounter content that violates the Code of Conduct or poses a risk to any user.
Article 4: Data, privacy, and confidentiality
The data we collect and how we use it is explained in the Integro Terms of Service and Privacy Notice, Data Use Policy, Cookie Policy, and AI Disclosure. By consenting to this Agreement, you confirm that you have read, understand, and consent to those policies.
4.1 Limits of confidentiality
While Integro is committed to protecting your privacy, confidentiality is not absolute. We may be required to disclose information:
- In response to a valid legal order or regulatory requirement
- Where we have reasonable grounds to believe a user is at imminent risk of harm to themselves or others
- As described in our full Terms of Service and Privacy Notice
4.2 AI conversation data
Conversations with Platform AI features may be reviewed by members of our small team for safety monitoring, quality assurance, and product improvement. All team members with data access are bound by confidentiality obligations. Where possible, data used for product improvement is anonymized or aggregated. Review is periodic and prioritized by flagged or reported content — it is not continuous or real-time.
Article 5: Crisis and safety protocols
5.1 The Platform is not a crisis service
This Platform is not designed or equipped to respond to mental health emergencies. If you are experiencing a psychiatric crisis, suicidal ideation, or any situation requiring immediate intervention, you must contact emergency services or a crisis line directly:
- Emergency services: 911 (US) or your local equivalent
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988 (US)
- Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741 (US)
- Fireside Project: 623-473-7433 (open daily 11 am – 11 pm PT)
Your clinical provider should also be contacted if you are experiencing adverse effects related to your therapy. When in doubt, do not rely on the Platform.
5.2 Safety features
The Platform may prompt users to seek appropriate support when it detects certain content patterns. These features are supplementary safeguards — they do not replace your judgment or the responsibility to seek help when you need it.
Article 6: Updates to this agreement
Every time a new version of this Agreement is deployed, you will be prompted to review and consent to the updated version on your next login. Continued use of the Platform after consenting constitutes your agreement to the updated terms. You can review this Agreement at any time in your account or at this page.
